It was a pleasant surprise to find the breeder's sms in my inbox. She asked about Brady and mentioned how she really misses him. That's a sweet thing to hear. But it was also the first time i got to know he actually has a sister. I always assumed that he came from a batch of 4 boys. Guess they wanted to keep the girl for themselves (for obvious reasons). So anyway she kindly sent me an mms:
Brady's mom & sis
Funny how his mom is a beautiful chocolate brown and the daughter is black, but Brady is fawn, and his other brother whom I saw was also of a different color. There's certainly the resemblance between him and the girl, so hopefully they'd end up with a nice thick coat like their momma.
One for the road...

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!The past year has seen some changes in my life and perhaps in me. I finally got my big fat wish... I got Max! And now i've added Brady to the picture. I really can't be more thankful for their presence everyday. Nothing quite beats it having them run up to me everytime I come home as if they've not seen me for ages. Truth be told, the lessons my dogs have taught me have been priceless. The times they fell ill, eliminated in all the wrong places and vomitted over my sheets have been hard tests of patience. While I still flare up (a fine e.g. being when Brady chewed up 4 pairs of good footwear & stole Char Tao Kueh off the dining table), I'd like to think i'm learning to deal with things better. :)
Looking ahead I hope to be less judgemental having come a looong way from the bitchy mindless posts of yonder years (well not that long). And to be personally more driven though not necessarily in terms of material pursuits. There's really more genuine issues in life than frivolous accomplishments.
Right, before this post descends into the irredeemable pits of sentimentality and romantic notions, I shall stop myself. Have a good one folks!
PS: Happy bacteria-free licks from the boys.
