A most disappointing breakup... Josh Schwartz is an idiot. No one knows what i'm so upset about but you all will, when The OC officially hits us 31st March. PLEASE WATCH IT!!! (it starts out real boring and stupid but the juicy twists come mid-season)

I was havin a convo with a friend recently about people who changed their looks dramatically since pri/sec sch. I'm really into the idea that hair and make-up seriously makes all the difference. It's kinda freaky but it's so true. A good bundle of us really did look like shit back in the good 'ol days... (i'd be the first to admit. ask me for evidence if you dunmind revolting). Hmm... we've definitely come a long way from then, i am glad to say. So many ex-skanks are lookin their finest ever at present. But you'd either pop the champagne or grunt in jealousy depending on whether the person in question is a friend or foe. I can't exactly quite put my finger on this phenomenon though. Is it that being Asians, most of us mature later and therefore discover our more chiselled features post-16 yrs? Or is it just that we're putting greater effort into our hair, dressing etc? Or maybe it's how with life's experiences, we're more confident and exacting in how we carry ourselves? & even for a selected few, it's thanks to the surgeon's knife (yes, a fact about our peers i shockingly learnt from a friend)...

But whatever it is, the million-dollar question... Why don't more guys go through the same thing?! Argh! But praise to the concept of the metrosexual and growing male-beauty industry, hopefully the testosterones could catch up on evolution soon.

The Chinese have a saying "the world has no ugly women, only lazy women". How apt. Here i have Hollywood permeating the truth... watch as 'there's something about mary' progressively becomes hotter with each new episode and then learn the MYTH of it all!
